  I am currently a Junior at the University of Mary Washington, majoring in Spanish.  I have been swimming since I was seven years old, and have completed three full seasons on the varsity team at UMW.  I have worked as an assistant coach for the last three years, and am very excited about taking on my first head coaching position.

Jenni is coming back to the area that she grew up in for the summer. She is currently a rising senior at West Chester University of Pennsylvania and is majoring in Exercise Science. Her swimming background includes age group with the Sterling Park Seahawks, Abington Heights Gators (in Pennsylvania) as well as Abington Heights High School. She currently loves to compete in sprint triathlons, as well as snowboarding and weight training. Her experience as the Assistant Coach for the 9-11 year old age group with USA sanctioned Golden Ram Aquatics swim team in West Chester, PA has given her the confidence and skills to breakdown stroke mechanics, teach speed training, and perfect starts and turns. Jenni is very excited to start a great season with the Sailfish!

Amanda Ward

Amanda is very excited to be starting a new year with the Potomac Station Sailfish.  She will be attending The College of William and Mary as a freshman in the fall, and has a great love for swimming.  Amanda has been swimming with the Sailfish for the past ten summers.  She has enjoyed working with the Sailfish as a Coach for two years, during the summer swim season as well as at winter clinics.   Amanda swam year-round competitively for three years, and continued to swim on the Heritage High School Varsity swim team for two years.   In addition Amanda runs on the Varsity Track and Cross-Country teams at Heritage.

Brent is currently a Freshmen at Virginia Tech University, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.  He swam competitively on a year-round team for 11 years and has been swimming on summer league teams for 13 years. He has two years of Junior Coach experience as well as one year as an Assistant Coach on Potomac Station Swim Team. Brent has earned his Eagle Scout Award and is an active leader in his community. In his free time, he enjoys listening to music, running and spending time with his friends. Brent is very excited to start another fun season of swimming with Potomac Station.

Tim Melhuish

Tim is currently a rising junior at Heritage High School. He has been swimming for 11 years and coaching as a junior coach for the past two years. He also plays water polo for Claude Moore Aquatics Club and was a representative in Irvine, California for the Eastern Zone Team. When not in the water, Tim enjoys spending time with friends and family, listening to music, and watching sports. Tim is very excited to be a part of another great season coaching for Potomac Station!
